In late 2013, B2C offered two EPs to promote their new, full length LP due out December 2014. Funding for the new LP is by fan pledge funded through pleadgemusic.com. Pledges at this writing have exceeded goal. This review is offered to B2C fans to wet their collective whistle for the upcoming release.

The following EP, the second to be offered, provides three takes on two songs originally recorded on their last LP of the same title as the band’s name. The last song on this EP is new.

  • “Closer To The Edge” (alternate version) – with Roy Orbison-like guitar intro, occasionally mixed in synth to accentuate the chorus, and sharper percussion, this version further highlights Delopoulus’ poetry.
  • “Live In A Van” (alternate version) – with an intro of knocking on wood, this light version is mild, romping fun.
  • “Live In A Van” (live) – for those lucky enough to see B2C live you know how their performance is tight but what stands out is the occasional improvisation of the various band members especially that of Delopoulus’ vocal treatment. Here, the electric guitar, some slide, and organ highlight the version.
  • “Tonelious” (live) – organ and electric guitar give foundation to a very rhythmic guitar / vocal duet. Something new in style showing growth and future.

Here there is an example in alternatives, live versions, and a new song forecasting what is to come on December xx, 2014 in B2C’s 3rd full-length album release.
