Here, in the first of two From The Vault EPs, the fan finds something original from B2C’s roots while the newcomer finds something fresh. The Greek influence, solid guitar, poetry, and vocals are superb as always while a few tunes lean toward other genres.

• “Black Stain” – with a past paced acoustic guitar strumming to Delopoulus’’ signature vocal cadence, this song tells of the darkness of our world. The harmony and guitar highlights of Philippidis make this song stand up like the soundtrack to a modern western.
• “Down to the Cellar” – slow and deliberate with light guitar, a winner as it sinks deep into the listener’s heart.
• “A Possible Anna” – kicks in like a Paul Simon release with fast paced guitar and light story telling having playful lyrics.
• “Dark City” – simple blues guitar and darker vocals than previously seen from Delopoulus.
• “Middle Class Man” – interesting variation from the brighter vocals and acoustic guitar work of B2C. The vocals, electric guitar and straightforward percussion give this tune a completely different flavor.
• “May I Never Find You” – another short ditty but a little more country than this reviewer is used to from B2C.

While the first half of this offering keeps to the foundational elements of B2C the second half seems, to a small degree, foreign. Overall, the writing is again very solid and the performance always enlightening.
