With the Christmas holiday season coming to a close for 2021 I am reviewing all those things that made this Christmas great. One of those is television commercials - some old, some new. Heart-felt, funny and sometimes annoying (perfume commercials!) they provoke feelings reminding us of what the holidays should offer. Following are some of my favorites and one link to those Christmas commercials America seldom has seen.
- Number one for me this year is the Chevrolet commercial where the daughter of a widower has her Mom's old Chevy convertible repaired for her Dad's Christmas present. Heart-felt and overflowing with the true spirit of Christmas.

- The innocence and joy of youth pop in this Lexus commercial where a young girl creates a Christmas runway for Santa to land his sleigh in hopes of getting a BIG present. In the end she runs outside Christmas day to find a new Lexus in the driveway exclaiming 'IT WORKED!' As she jumps for joy.
- And then there are the seldom seen commercials but must be seen. Among those, Kenin the Carrot reigns. More with outtakes.
- A few years back this comedic commercial with Travolta and Jackson showcased their chemistry. Always entertaining, it brings a wry smile but this long version really entertains.
- Finally, this commercial has been playing for years but always 'warms' my Christmas heart with a whistled version of 'O Tannenbaum' while Christmas lights adorn a nearby palm tree on a small island paradise! It must be Christmas!
